Retail Assistant: Fruit Market & Tours

Join Tropical Fruit World as a dedicated Retail Assistant, working in our vibrant Fruit Market & Tours Department. Reporting to the Tours Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in providing a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming visitors as the first point of contact at Guest Services check-ins.
• Ensuring smooth daily operations in the Fruit Market Department.
• Performing opening and closing procedures for the Fruit Market.
• Diligently monitoring customer safety and adhering to safety procedures.
• Handling cash transactions and overseeing financial activities within the Fruit Market.
• Participating in monthly Occupational Health & Safety Toolbox meetings.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in your department.
• Demonstrating punctuality and accurate timekeeping for every shift.

Customer Interaction:

• Respectfully and positively engage with customers, maintaining a helpful attitude.
• Refrain from discussing internal business or staff matters in front of customers.
• Prioritize customer service, especially when customers are at or near the counter, in line with our service expectations.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Foster a positive team environment and actively participate in team activities.
• Aim to enhance team performance, satisfaction, and productivity.
• Display strong problem-solving, planning, and preventative maintenance skills.
