The Power of Avocado

The Power of Avocado

The avocado, a nutrient powerhouse since the 13th century, was first revered by the Aztecs for its health benefits. Rich in vitamins and minerals essential for modern diets, avocado stands out as a superfood. Its nutritional excellence translates well into skincare, supported by numerous studies highlighting its superior qualities for skin health.

Derived from the fruit's pulp, avocado oil is rich in carotene, protein, lecithin, and fatty acids, and is packed with vitamins A, D, and E. These components moisturise the skin and offer protection against UV damage. The oil's ability to stimulate collagen production and its high oleic acid content enhance nutrient absorption, making it a standout in natural oils. Additionally, avocado oil acts as a humectant, hydrating and nourishing the skin while reducing inflammation and promoting healing.

Incorporating up to 25% pure avocado oil, Tropicology's skincare range leverages these benefits to significantly improve skin health.

Brand Story

Brand Story

Our family farm, Tropical Fruit World is nestled among the volcanic hills and water catchments of the Tweed Valley, Australia, inspires our skincare brand, Tropicology. Our products harness the healing properties of the diverse fruits and botanicals cultivated on our family farm.

Since taking over the farm in 1972, we have committed to biologically sustainable horticulture. Our avocado trees, first planted over 80 years ago, now include more than 18 varieties of this nutrient-rich superfood on our property.

As pioneers in avocado farming practices in Australia, we have gained a deep understanding of avocado skin benefits. Tropicology predominantly utilises avocado oil, combining scientific innovation with natural ingredients to enhance skin balance, brightness, and texture. Regular use improves radiance, diminishes fine lines, and supports skin structure.
