Kangaroos & Joeys

Our Fauna Park is home to a mob of Eastern Grey Kangaroos, representing Australia's largest marsupial species. Kangaroos breed year-round, offering opportunities to spot their young joeys, either hopping around with their mothers or snuggly tucked inside their pouches.

Our Kangaroo mob is ever coming and going, with the birth of joeys, having new 'roo residents' brought in, or sending others out to various animal conservation parks around Australia to prevent inbreeding. One of our longest standing roo residents is Grandma, named for her distinctive white lines featured on her snout is one of the many members of the mob who eagerly greet our guests ready for a feed.
