Role Description: As a Tour Guide at Tropical Fruit World, you'll be at the heart of the action to make every visitor's experience memorable. This role reports to the Tours Supervisor on duty. 

• Provide engaging and informative tours, offering insights on a wide array of fruits, farming techniques, and geographical information.
• Uphold the highest standard of customer service in line with TFW's expectations.
• Utilise up-selling and cross-promotional strategies to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to daily operational procedures as outlined in the Operations and Safety Manual.

Operational Duties:

• Conduct farm tours, fruit tastings, and assist in the fruit market.
• Handle cash transactions, retail sales, and basic administrative tasks.
• Execute opening and closing procedures as required.
• Foster positive relationships with team members, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
• Strictly follow safety protocols to ensure passenger safety, in accordance with TFW's OH&S policies.
• Participate in monthly Occupational Health & Safety meetings.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all tour-related areas.
• Demonstrate punctuality and accurate timekeeping for shifts.

Customer Service:

• Provide respectful, positive, and helpful service to customers.
• Avoid discussing internal matters in the presence of customers.
• Adhere to TFW's service expectation guidelines while interacting with customers.

Teamwork:

• Contribute positively to the team environment.
• Engage in team activities and foster team co-operation.
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving, planning, and preventative maintenance skills.
• Show flexibility, honesty, and a 100% commitment to the role and TFW.
• Exhibit strong time management and organisational abilities.

Communication:

• Be energetic, self-motivated, resourceful, and passionate about Tropical Fruit World.
• Maintain effective communication via radio while on the farm.
• Ensure clear understanding of corporate objectives among tour staff.
• Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully at all times.
• Prioritise and manage time efficiently, both individually and as part of a team.
• Adhere to TFW's policies and procedures.
